Ma's Cookies began long before it became a business.
For years, Lynelle baked her much-loved cookies for her children. They quickly became a family favourite, and whenever friends and family tasted them, they all asked the same question: "When are you going to start selling these?" But for years, she never did.
Then came 2020.
During COVID, Lynelle saw an opportunity to turn her passion into something special. What started as homemade cookies baked with love soon grew into Ma's Cookies—a business built on family, tradition and quality.
Her love for baking began in her childhood, watching her mom and grandmother in the kitchen, where baking was always filled with love, laughter and delicious aromas. Her grandmother, affectionately known as Ma, inspired not only her passion for baking but also the name behind the brand.
Today, every batch of Ma's Cookies is still made with the same homemade care, using real butter, premium chocolate and quality ingredients to create cookies that taste just like home.

How long do the cookies last?
Our cookies are made with no preservatives, so they’re best enjoyed as soon as possible. They stay fresh for up to 5 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
Can I freeze the cookies?
Absolutely! If you won’t be enjoying them within 5 days, simply freeze them in an airtight container. When you’re ready to eat one, warm it up in the microwave, oven, or air fryer for that fresh-baked taste.
Do you sell frozen cookies? Only available in Johannesburg
Yes! We offer frozen cookies that you can bake fresh at home. Bake them from frozen at 180°C for 10–12 minutes for a warm, freshly baked cookie.
How do I warm up my cookie?
For a soft, gooey cookie with melted chocolate:
– Microwave: 10–30 seconds
– Air fryer: 2–3 minutes at 160°C
– Oven: 3–5 minutes at 160°C
Do your cookies contain preservatives?
No. Our cookies are baked from scratch using quality ingredients and contain no preservatives.
How should I store my cookies?
Keep them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Can I order cookies in bulk?
Yes! We cater for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, gifts, party favours, and special occasions. Get in touch for bulk order pricing.
Do you offer custom branding?
